"Humorous" is a bit formal... we still use it sometimes, but usually written. "a humorous book/article" is a common way to use it. But if I said aloud "I read a humorous article." it might sound stiff. "I read a funny article." is more natural in modern speech.

btw,“it might sound stiff” ?If it's necessary that 'sound' need to be added a letter 's'?👉“It might sounds stiff.”?

It depends on the phrase: "It sounds like~" "That sounds~" you need 's' but, for "It will/might sound~ (strange, horrible, perfect etc)" no 's' is used.
