Dunkeltaler Forest | The area where ASO facility is located. It is known for its history of curses and superstition, such as missing people, cryptic sightings, and strange flying objects. Its story cannot be fully explained here, but many eyes across the universe and beyond see something of significance here. |
Alpen Signal Observatorium Employees[]

Dr. Ena | An expert in the occult and friend of Dr. Kel. Uses the same emails as all the other email scientists. | |
Dr. Max | A nerdy newbie scientist working for Alpen Signal Observatorium. Uses the same emails as all the other email scientists. | |

Dr. Ler | ||
Kerfur | A robotic server repair unit that, when not on the way to repair a server, will follow the player around. Do not pet too much. | |
Kerfur Omega/KerfurO | An upgraded version of the standard Kerfur server repair unit, which can do much more than just repair servers. It can also be told to get reports, fix downed transformers, and hold the object you are currently holding. Must be crafted, the crafting recipe can be found here. Many different skins can be applied to Omega Kerfur by replacing the color part with a different prop/item or not having one all together. |
Earthlings Trivia[]
- Dr. Kel's favorite food is sushi.[1]
- in 0.6.3a, Kerfur/KerfurO became the first non-alien character to get an official voice actor due to replacing the original Kerfur voice lines (due to possible copyright)
- Kerfur is based on a mascot from the Polish store chain Carrefour's robotic helper, Kerfus
- Kerfur's name was changed from Kerfus in 0.6.2
Alien Species[]
Image | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
Arirals | An alien race that somewhat resembles anthropomorphic cats with no fur, white skin and hair. They seldom interact with Dr. Kel directly, unless provoked (such as trying to steal their storage containers). They often prank Dr. Kel with attempts to annoy or scare him. | |

---|---|---|
Antibreather | A brown, bloody, patchwork monster originating from Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski. It has glowing white eyes that light up the area in front of it, although this is a bit useless as it is blind. It also sports anperfysium limbs, including 2 large scythes at the front. It walks or gallops around the forest at night on all fours, non-lethally knocking over Dr. Kel if it makes contact with him. | |
Spider Argemia | A hybrid entity similar to an Argemia plushie that will spawn in the secret room from the lone hallway on the higher floor of the tutorial map. It can one shot Dr.Kel and the Half-Life 2 Stalker scream will play after the spawn. |
Alien Trivia[]
- Ariral is pronounced "Ah-ree-ral".
Creatures[]
Image | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
Wolfgang | Wolfgang is a giant centipede that wanders around the map at high speeds, and has the ability to open doors. It is passive and poses no threat to the player in any way. On the Radar, it appears as a collection of several entities - one for each segment of its body. Wolfgang appears to spawn randomly, but can be coaxed out of the cave through the use of its favorite food, pumpkins. |
Console Entities[]
Image | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
Rufus | Rufus is a red entity of unknown origin. He has a long neck with 2 beady eyes, 4 legs, and 2 small, stubby arms. He kicks away props that get in his way, and he breaks doors open. He runs very fast, and is able to kill Dr. Kel by skinning him alive. He does not spawn randomly, and is instead triggered by a console command (gooseworx.rufus). Rufus can be banished with the command "rufus.fuckoff". He came from a dream. | |
Thiccfus | Thiccfus is a very thicc version of Rufus, but it has some differences: It moves slower than the player, and explodes upon touching any obstacle without getting harmed by it. Just like Rufus, it can only be triggered/spawned through a console command, which is "gooseworx.thiccfus", and banished the same way, via the command "rufus.fuckoff". | |
Maxwell | Funny cat. Upon typing "maxwell" into the terminal, Maxwell will spawn randomly around the map and play a song by Kevin Macleod that was remixed to have cat meows as the notes. In newer versions, Maxwell will become a skeleton and Bad to the Bones will play, then he will explode. if pet multiple times. | |
Argemwell | Funny Ariral(?) cat. Upon typing "Argemwell" into the terminal will spawn randomly around the map and play the song "The Penis (Eek!)". In newer versions, Argemwell can explode into individual shrimp (and turn your screen white for a some frames) if pet multiple times. |
