Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
- Work on a variety of cyber security projects, implementing some leading technologies, great chance to make a difference for students, academics, and staff.
- Manage projects end to end, with a good level of autonomy, getting to work across all levels of the university and digital team.
- Work in a growing portfolio management team with a chance to contribute to how we work.
- No boring run of the mill or 'easy' projects - lots of opportunities and challenges to get your teeth into!
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of commercially complex, large and/or high-risk projects within the Cyber Security Programme. You will take ownership of the project from concept to closure, including business case preparation, and will liaise closely with all stakeholders, vendors, and users.
You will also contribute to the development of the project management practice, helping to remove barriers and implement identified process improvements.

You are an experienced senior project manager who has a good understanding of cyber security and IT environments having led a number of complex projects (preferably cybersecurity projects).
You will be a great people person, with a positive proactive attitude and a willingness to get things done. You will be able to manage multi-functional teams, leading them to deliver great business outcomes.
As you will be working in an agile manner, it's important that you enjoy problem solving, are an effective communicator and can adapt to shifting priorities.
As you will be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, it's important that you can build productive and positive relationships with a range of people.

This role is wide ranging, and depending on the projects being managed, you will work with teams across UC. You will be part of our Portfolio Management and Delivery practice, sitting within the wider Digital Services team.
Our Digital Team is on an exciting transformation journey, supporting UC to deliver a large amount of change. The Cyber programme is enabling UC to foster a positive cyber culture and you will work closely with Digital Services Directors and Product Managers, Faculty Mangers and Departmental Managers, Research Managers, UC Student Association and multiple other teams across UC.
