Wanted to talk to you today as an instructor, as one of the people that's in the classroom for medical sales college. We have multiple campuses out there and it's up to you to find the one that works for you the best, but we strive to make sure that the student experience it. Each one is very similar. What you can expect is an instructor staff that cares about your student. I get to know them very well and I care about them and they know that I care about them, and I think that's very important that you hear that on the front side. I've spent over 30 years in this business. In fact, I got my own son into this business selling total hips and knees. So I think that gives me a unique perspective. What you can expect to go through is instruction on total hips, total knees, trauma and orthobiologics on the front end of the program And on the back end, one of our three specialties, either the spine, sports medicine or distal extremities. What we found is the curriculum that you take doesn't necessarily equate to the job that you get. Placed in many of our students get employed in areas where they didn't take that particular specialty. And so we think that makes our program very well-rounded. We really focus on getting our students ready to make a difference in medical device sales. My favorite saying is the name on the back of my jersey can get you an interview, but it's got to be the name on the back of yours that gets you a job. And we prepare them very well to go out and seek that job.

Today, Dental Click had the privilege to join the Annual MDRS, COPMeD, COPDEND, Medical/Dental Career Conference 2024 at Hilton Belfast, engaging with various medical professionals on career perspectives emphasizing versatility, vision, and value. One of the highlights of the day was Professor Lourda Geoghegan’s insight on building resilience and leadership to effectively respond and mitigate the impact of the pandemic:- Know yourself- Make connections- Get real and get help“Be the leader you can be, don’t try to be the leader you think you should be…” At Dental Click, we value embracing change, being flexible, and fostering collaboration. These are key principles that we focus on too.#MedicalProfessionals #CareerConference #Networking

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻...👀A whopping 65% stated that a University Degree was not an essential criteria when hiring new talent, compared to only 7% that say it is. There is no denying that there are many benefits and skills University can offer individuals from:🗣 - Social skills👨🏫 - Presentation skills⏰ - Time management✍ - Adhering to deadlines+ many more! I also agree with 28% of individuals that it really depends, especially if the degrees are essential to some professions, such as Nursing, Teachers etc. University can be more than a degree, but provide life skills to help entry level talent feel ready for a career in medical sales!

The reasons I named my latest program: “Rock Your Medical Career”Contrary to what you may have been led to believe, you are meant to enjoy your career. It’s time to enjoy the career that you worked so hard to build. You can create the career of your dreams, and enjoy your life while doing so. But since no one is going to come along and create the career of your dreams for you, you get to do that yourself. Create a life that you don’t need a vacation from! DM me for more details on how you too can “Rock Your Medical Career”. OR: Click the link in the comments to learn about the program as well as how to join!

Every season, Accepted consultant Cydney Foote meets bright, engaged applicants who are eager to take their first step toward a career in medicine. Their only problem? Limited clinical experience. Many of them have some (or even a lot) of shadowing experience. Many have worked for a summer in a doctor’s office. Many have a semester or two of volunteering in a hospital playroom for a few hours a month. But when you add up their clinical (non-shadowing) hours, they’re just not enough. 🚨How many hours is enough?🚨This is a difficult question. There’s no definite cutoff, and some applicants manage to parlay minimal hours into an impressive amount of clinical exposure. However, it’s not easy to convince an admissions committee that you want to pursue a medical career if you haven’t spent sufficient time in a clinical environment. As a general rule, applicants with 500 or more hours of strong clinical experience tend to be the most successful. Are you looking to improve your experiences for your med school reapplication? Read all of Cydney's advice linked below!https://hubs.li/Q02wXTZ70 #medschool #reapplication #medschoolapplication #medschooladmissions #clinicalhours #futuredoctor #medicalschool #medstudent #meded

🎓 Tip 4.5: Concluding your Medical Sales shadowing experience with a well-structured report 🎓After engaging in any shadowing experiences, we recommend to all Graduates to compose a comprehensive report, which should be taken along to interviews in a printed format (be sure to bring extra copies to ensure everyone present has one).Throughout the shadowing experience, we suggest jotting down your observations to facilitate the creation of a detailed report.Aim for thoroughness, ideally crafting a document spanning two sides of A4 paper. This video explains how your report should be segmented into three distinct components, and what you should include in each section. For more tips and advice on how to structure your medical sales shadowing report, reach out to Lauren!📞 0113 457 0777📧 graduates@evolveselection.com #graduatemedicalsales #shadowing #reportwriting

⭐️Reason 8: Flexibility. Does a career as a physician or scientist require intense effort and study? Yes. Does it often times require odd hours and working more than societal norms? Yes. But one of the beauties of a physician scientist career (as opposed to 100% clinical) is flexibility in WHEN I work. There are times I need to leave early to make a family obligation and can shift my schedule up or go in early. It removes some of the time restraints that a typical clinical job may have. If you are a trainee and thinking about the physician scientist path and have questions, please reach out!

Thank you for sharing this, Arlen Meyers, MD, MBA.As I read through the article, I couldn’t help but reflect on similar advice I received in a very different era of medicine. Today, however, my questions would be more forward-looking. Beyond the basics, I’d want to know about the organization's #culture, #innovation, and #technology strategy. How are the #stakeholders valued, and how does the organization integrate #AI and technology into clinical decision support and EHR systems? More importantly, what's the vision for the future? How does the organization plan to manage the growing #cybersecurity risks, and how involved are they in supporting their community? We are no longer just evaluating compensation and location—today, physicians must assess how well a practice aligns with our values and adapts to an evolving healthcare landscape. Thanks again for this thought-provoking piece!
