You're navigating a delicate negotiation. How can you convey your bottom line without sparking conflict?
We have to stop thinking about negotiation as a win-lose and assuming aggression or conflict. Negotiation is about two parties finding a compromise where both can feel valued and heard - and they don't have to be that hard. I recommend starting the conversation with just that....."we're walking into a conversation today that we both have a huge stake in, I'd love to start by asking how we can do this to ensure we both walk away feeling valued."1 Upvote

Your team is facing tough times. How can you ignite motivation to keep productivity and morale high?
It's essential to maintain high morale and productivity during challenging times. Here are a few strategies:Openly discuss the challenges your team is facing. This creates a sense of shared understanding and empowers them to find solutions.Encourage open communication, transparency, teamwork, and mutual support. Ensure your team has the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed. Acknowledge and reward hard work, even during challenging times. Encourage your team to take care of themselves physically and mentally.Upvote

You're facing a tight project deadline. How can you negotiate for more time without sacrificing quality?
Openness and transparency is always your best bet!-Don't wait-State the facts-Remove emotion-State the options-Open the door for stakeholders to weigh in1 Upvote

Here's how you can calculate the ROI of investing in negotiation training for your career.

Your concessions are being ignored in negotiation. How will you navigate this one-sided situation?
It's crucial to know your boundaries in negotiation. You can make concessions to a point and then, you need to be prepared to walk away.Ask yourself, is this a partnership that fits my values in terms of how they're negotiating, not just what. For example, are they respectful? If not, that may not be a match for you and prepare to let it go.Upvote

You're evaluating your negotiation skills. How does feedback impact your strengths and weaknesses?
Practicing negotiation with a partner before you walk into the actual event is crucial. Most people don't negotiate well, especially when it's personal. They have a hard time advocating for themselves.Being prepared in this instance is beyond critical!Upvote

- Kaitlyn Hatzel “I met Keri-Lynne at a very interesting time in my career. I was looking for a career change and feeling very insecure about it. I didn't know it at the time, but working with Keri-Lynne would change the trajectory of my life. The job I landed with her help has helped me figure out where I want to take myself and my career, and working with her truly taught me so much about myself and my worth. Keri-Lynne didn't tell me what to do and how to do it, our work was so much more than that. She listened to me with empathy and compassion, she asked thoughtful questions in a way that helped me unlock my own answers. She cheered me on and celebrated with me every step of the way - all the while encouraging me to celebrate myself. Keri-Lynne truly believes in lifting other women up, and empowering them to be strong advocates for themselves. Her work ethic speaks for itself, but what is more is that she bring her values, a deep care, and humanity to her work. I'll never forget the lessons that came from my time working with her, and I'm thankful that I found a friend in such a wonderful human being.”

“I had the privilege of being a part of KL's direct team earlier in my career. She is the definition of leads by example. I cannot speak more highly of the professionalism she displays on a day-to day basis, as well as the the support she provided to each team member. Her guidance and mentorship were instrumental at a key point of my career. She advocates for her clients and does so with passion.I am better off for having had the fortune of working with her.”

- Natalie Southwell One of the most impactful shifts I’ve seen in the coaching industry is the rise of niche coaching. When I first specialized in emotional resilience, I witnessed firsthand the profound transformation that occurred when clients could dive deep into one specific area of their lives.By focusing on a niche, you’re not just offering general guidance—you’re providing targeted expertise that addresses a specific challenge or need. It allows you to connect with clients on a more personal level, offering solutions that are relevant and deeply impactful. In an increasingly competitive world, finding your niche gives you clarity, focus, and the ability to deliver measurable value. So, the question is: What’s your niche? What specific transformation do you want to bring to the world?#NicheCoaching #Specialization #LeadershipDevelopment #TransformationalLeadership 11 2 Comments

- Meme Stokes Callnin Traditionally, boards have had a compensation committee that focuses on executive compensation. That is changing. Today, successful organizations understand the value of people and how they are at the center of business success. This translates to their board composition. This article reinforces how important it is for the board to have a view over much more than executive compensation. Research has demonstrated that organizations with engaged employees deliver 21% to 23% better business results. Great article highlighting the benefits a board can bring around important human capital strategies such as culture, engagement, talent management, and employee retention!#humancapitalstrategy #boardcomposition #drivingbusinessresults 4 1 Comment
